Right in the heart of the Grandvalira region, at 2050m, is Pas de la Casa on the frontier between Andorra and the Pyrenees. “Pas de la Casa” literally means “ the pass of the house” in Catalan. The 100km of pistes are perfectly adapted to skiers and snowboarders of all levels, but will particularly please intermediate and expert skiers. Snow is assured the whole year round thanks to 382 snow making machines. For snowboarders, there is a snowpark with a halfpipe and for real daredevils there is a boarder cross run. You will also have the possibility to discover mono-skiing, snowshoeing, skidoo and torch lit ski descents. To make your family ski holidays easier, you could have your children of less than 3 years taken after by the resort’s kindergarten.
As is Andorran tradition, everyone goes out at night. There is a great number of bars, nightclubs, tapas bars and restaurants at Pas de la Casa. It isn’t for nothing that people say that Pas de la Casa’s après-ski is the warmest in the Pyrenees. If you prefer a more relaxing après-ski, you could lounge around in a Spa or in the Caldea Water Spa, only 30km away from the resort.
