The Sauze d'Oulx ski resort (also named "Salice d'Ulzio" in Italian) is located in Northern Italy in the province of Turin, Piedmont. Rising at an altitude of 1503 metres, the resort was the site of the Freestyle Skiing events of the 2006 Olympic Winter Game.
As one of the largest and the most popular resorts in the Milky Way ski domain, Sauze d'Oulx offers 400km of pistes that are good value, great for intermediates and somehow relatively uncrowded. While Sauze provides mainly intermediate pistes, advanced skiers will have to go to Sestriere to find more challenging terrain, that is the black pistes at the top of Mount Sises and Mount Motta.
Moreover boarders will appreciate the big, open pistes, the off-piste and the après-ski with restaurants, games hall, skidoos, evening excursions...
