Chamonix ski station is the third most visited natural site in the world. Surrounded by majestic glaciers such as the Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi, in a beautiful setting with an exceptional panorama all year round, Chamonix has many activities on hand: hiking, mountain biking, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snow-shoe walking and many more. The ski slopes are perfectly maintained ensuring you can make the most of your winter sports break. You will be able to take advantage of over 118 kilometres of ski slopes, including 13 blacks, 18 reds, 29 blues and seven green ones all serviced by the 43 ski lifts and cable cars. Cross-country skiing fans will enjoy the 34 kilometres of slopes going through the pine tree forests. Two routes are available: from Chamonix to the Hameau des Bois or the Argentière route. For those who love admiring landscapes, the Aiguille du Midi cable car will take you 3842 meters above sea level.
